We're looking for a Solution Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of Solution Engineers which successfully guides Enterprise Customers across their entire customer lifecycle.

About the role

As a Solution Engineering Manager at Sanity, you will be responsible for building a robust and engaged team of Solution Engineers. Your team will be responsible for actively driving value with the technical implementation throughout the customer lifecycle. The team engages with clients from the pre-sales phase all the way to their final implementation and related innovation cycles and expansions. The team helps clients understand all technical aspects of the product including the releases of new functionalities. The role is also responsible for the tooling the team builds to demonstrate Sanity’s capabilities and the interaction towards other functions like Sales, Support and Applications.

The Solution Engineering team represents the voice of the customer towards internal functions and influences our roadmap decisions, our marketing strategy.

What you will be doing

  • Set the standard for your team to ensure consistent, sustainable delivery, manage expectations and visibility of work.
  • Work closely with the Head of Customer Success & Solution Engineering
  • Facilitate teamwork and establish ways of working that can deliver the required tooling to demonstrate the capabilities and values Sanity offers.
  • Owning the organisation of the workload across the team.
  • Under your leadership the Solution Engineering team will take ownership of their work supporting enterprise customers across their lifecycle.
  • Align and coordinate engineering practices with other functions to guarantee high development standards.
  • Your greatest responsibility will be looking after the individuals reporting to you, mentoring and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.

This may be you

  • 2+ years engineering leadership experience, either in the form of a team lead or an engineering/development manager position
  • Experience with client facing consulting work
  • A clear understanding of modern technology stacks and industry trends
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring individuals
