About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated individual proficient in analysis of qualitative and quantitative research data who will help drive product development based on an understanding of Resonate’s end-to-end process from data creation through processing and finally availability in our SaaS platform to customers. The work they produce will have a direct impact on driving business strategies for prominent industry leaders in Audience Research, Media, and Advertising Analytics.

Successful candidates will:
- Align data and methodology R&D efforts with product roadmap. Determine how new methodologies, data processing and analysis can improve the customer experience and drive revenue.
- Establish & maintain product validation policies to deliver products that meet product and customer expectations and ensure Resonate’s methodology from data creation to data representation is right for our customer objectives.
- Have self-motivation and strong communication to work across engineering, product management, and customer success teams. They will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, ambiguous problems, and rapid iterations. You will need to be comfortable taking risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic perspective, including the ability to audit current methodology and metrics, to ensure consistency of data, metrics, processes across products/features.
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure data is being used as intended and well understood.  Extract, transform and analyze data in support of data-oriented product development, methodology evolution, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with teams in Software Engineering, Data Science, and Product Management to deliver timely and quality insights. You will be the knowledge expert, delivering quality data to our clients.

-  3+ years of experience with data products as a Data Analyst or similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, etc.
- Experience in data analysis and problem-solving with big data. Strong analysis and numeracy skills. Must enjoy working with data to drive insights and outcomes
- Experience with SQL, Excel and JIRA. Be process-oriented
- Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication skills with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of machine learning technologies (don’t need to code the algorithms! But should have a conceptual understanding). 
- The nature of the team’s dynamics will require an individual that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members, as well as complete tasks individually as assigned

●    Experience with statistical software (R or Python) or scientific computation software.
●    Experience with survey data, website tagging and/or Internet behavior data.
●    Knowledge of Amazon Web Services technologies such as S3, Athena, EMR
