NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Design, implement, maintain and operate information system security controls and countermeasures. Supervise and train security engineers in the administration of these systems. Document operation, use, and expected outputs of these systems. Design, test, implement systems, assess risk and resolve security issues. Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures in acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems. Provide people leadership. Participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, hiring decisions, and performance monitoring. Design, test, and implement state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Develop monitoring and visibility capabilities, reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends to IT or executive management. Conduct application security assessments, and provide recommendations for application vulnerability remediation, design and secure coding best practices. Involved in a wide range of security issues, including Secure code, architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. May use encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various application security testing (AST) technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies. Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Anticipate customer needs. Assess requirements and identify new solutions. Influence the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives. Monitor and control costs of own work and may manage budgets for moderate-sized projects or programs.

Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Electronics Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:

  • Software Development;
  • Software Architecture;
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST);
  • Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST);
  • Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST);
  • Open-Source Software Composition Analysis (SCA);
  • Data Analysis;
  • DevOps;
  • CI/CD;
  • Secure SDLC (SSDLC);
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS);
  • Agile;
  • Quality Engineering; and
  • Microservices.

OR

Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Electronics Engineering and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:

  • Software Development;
  • Software Architecture;

  • Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST);
  • Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST);
  • Open-Source Software Composition Analysis (SCA);
