Role Background:


We are looking for a highly experienced security leader that brings both technical acumen and a developer mindset to their work. You will be a key member of the Application Infrastructure & Engineering Effectiveness team, which carries the responsibility for designing, implementing, and operating tools, systems, and processes that improve the way Attentive builds and ships software. Practically, this will mean identifying areas for evolution and working closely with your team and developers across the organization to identify and solve problems that secure our code and how we build.

  • An ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize, both in the context of a growing company and engineering organization, as well as a problem set that inherently invites scope creep.Looks for ways to seamlessly build security into the tech stack without disrupting vertical teams.

  • Multiply the effectiveness of others by facilitating cross-team work.

Preferred Experience

  • Preferred ExperienceExperience participating in security compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and IT-SOX.
  • Experience using security tools (e.g. SIEMs, IDS/IPS systems, vulnerability scanners) and implementing sustainable, efficient, and highly automated workflows to address findings.
  • Experience developing and managing enterprise risk management programs.
  • Experience developing information security policies and standards.
